Fudge hair salon, CB
Posted by Northern Angel (300 days ago)
Has anyone had any experience of this salon?
I know it’s owned by D-Man that posts on here so hoping it's good for western hair but cheaper than the usual Philip George, The Hairdressers, and Philip Gerrard etc.
Where exactly is it in Causeway Bay and do they have a website?
Thanks for any advice.

NA,
its right in the circle on the 2nd floor. Just call for directions, he uses mainly local stylists but I have seen some others there as well. D-man turns out a good product this level is priced lower because it is a bit more aimed at younger and local but give it a try its a cool little shop....cheers

Hi!
I saw the Fudge salon mentioned in this forum before and I went there to get my hair cut last year : ) Although not all of them speak English super well (not that I spoke with everyone mind you), they were all very nice! I got my hair cut by Ivan, think he may be a local stylist, and I was really pleased with how it turned out! Even though I feel like I didn't explain what I wanted as well as I could have, I still came out of it with a nice cut that I think suited my face and my personality! : D It also fit my lower price range, yay! ; ) Comfy atmosphere too
It's really easy to find, on 51 Paterson Street. Just go out exit E (same as to Ikea), turn left, and Paterson St is the first one you'll hit! Turn left at Paterson, and then the store is also on the left^__^ Simple! Sorry though, don't know if they have a website because there isn't one listed on the business card.
Hope that helps! : )

I'm pleased with the cut, the stylist has done what I asked I only got a trim as I wanted to see how it went first, however the colour is very blonde! I went in with honey coloured highlights, I asked for the same and have come out very blonde. Didn't realise quite how blonde till I got home, the lights in the salon were very bright and it didn't look so blonde in there. I guess I'll just have to get used to it, I have been this colour before but it is quite a big change from what I was yesterday morning.
BTW my stylist was Beavis, a girl did my colour although he advised don't know her name but she seemed to do everyone's in there. The price was ok $1200 for a half head of highlights and I have longish hair. You could choose two levels of stylist for the cut I went for the slightly more expensive one at $380 the lower level was $280, so cheap for a cut. They also have a loyalty system after ten cuts your next one is free. So if your super blonde or want to go super blonde I'd definitely recommend them.

Northern Angel, I am happy to hear you had a good experience at the salon dispite the color being a little lighter. If you feel the color is too light it can be toned out to make it a bit warmer or deeper. If you give them a call and let them know they can arrange it for you and of course there is no cost involved.
