Cheap Airfares to Vancouver

Im after some pointers on getting the cheapest flights possible from HK to Vancouver in Jan 2008 until about May 2008.
I've heard of a special deal, where the airfare is around HKD$1500 return if your travelling around that time, but I cant seem to find this deal anywhere!!
Also is it better, price wise, to go to a travel agent in HK or book over the net?

yep, oasis is the cheapest deal - book it over the internet, no need for a travel agent. Quick, simple and cheap. Not sure if $1500 tickets would still be available, but the next priced tickets up arent that much dearer.

"Jan 2008 until about May 2008." is still far . Commonly airline policies changes every month. You can ask price information one month earlier. Some price online seems very cheap, but when you wanna book, you can not get it.
My advice is you can make a phone call to a good reputation agency to ask detaled information.

Cathay has a special to VCR that is about the same price as Oasis. Seats are limited (aren't they always), but the special is only a few days old, so they may still be available.

The cheapest ones I found from GZ to Vancouver last summer were via China Air, with a short stopover in BJ.

Oasis is also a good choice.
