bali holiday with 2 yo

Looking at going to Bali (or Thailand)for 10 days or so in September/ Oct.

considering hiring a villa for 6 x adults and 1 x baby/ + 2yo. Would like to be reasonably close to restaurants/ golf/ shopping etc. But not right amongst it.......any suggestions on areas, and FIRST HAND villa recommendations much appreciated?

check the website listed here, Bali Villas. Areas, if you want southern bali, would be Seminyak, canguu, Krobokan, good proximity to restaurants, and beach, 10 to 15 drive. Other areas are jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Sanur, but more Hotel based areas. Check the villa carefully, ask as many questions as you can, extra charges for cooking, cancellation policy, ''real'' pool and not plunge pool, check out times, facilities are actually there. One good one to rent is villa ani, ani, but cannot remember how many bedrooms it has, private location, offers 2 villas, in same area, and the pool is shared, child friendly.
