Monitor colour calibration hardware

I'm looking for one of the little gadgets that you use with your computer monitor for accurate colour calibration. Before I go out searching around Mongkok or Wanchai Computer Centres, does anyone know where I can get one?

I use the Gretag Eye-one display2. It's not cheap but Gretag know a thing or two about colour.

However you might find it cheaper in the computer mall.

The Colourvision spyder range might be a cheaper alternative but i bought mine based on trawling the net for reviews.

These devices will help with home printing but if you would like your prints to exactly resemble what you see on screen then you need a custom print profile. Each profile is based on the particular ink and paper you wish to use (google that).

Gretag is probably the most value for the money. I use the original Spyder which works OK, even with LCD monitors.
