1) Yes. It requires a hacked 3rd party application that most dealers will install automatically.
2) Yes.
3) Lots and lots. But only for hacked iPhones.
Bad side. While the iPhone has a wireless & bluetooth network connectors, it does not seem to have a modem that can talk to China mobile. So unless you are someplace with a wireless internet connection, there will be no internet for you.
Other bad side: The iPhone seemingly will not read you old sim card for contacts. So you will have to find an alternative way of putting them in the phone.
But it is still a cool phone with lots of neat features that I am only beginning to tap into.
iPhone does not read sim cards. All synchronising of contacts etc HAS to be done through iTunes.
I had an iPhone for a month or so... cool phone...lots to play around with but as it needs to be hacked, everything is unstable. My phone has now crashed and cannot get it working again....Waste of money in my opinion!!!
Did you try both the round button at the bottom of the screen and the on/off button of the top of the iPhone at the same time until it resets itself?
I have found mine very stable and no problems.
Sure there are a few irks but compared to other phones I have had (and still got kicking around in a drawer) like iMate, O2 Atom, Treo 750 and just a phone....the iPhone kills those stone dead.
I find it to be the best all round do everything device I have ever seen.
More than happy to give you a hand to get the best out of yours if need be.
I have only had a few issues with my iPhone. The first was figuring out how to get it to connect to the internet without a wireless network, but I figured that out and now it works great.
The other things that kind of annoy me is that 1) I can't figure out how to send a SMS to multiple people. And 2) You can't send out MMS's (text messages with pictures, videos, etc...)
But aside from those little things, my iPhone rocks.
Found out it was a hardware problem. After all the problems, and reading many problems with 3rd party software affecting it, i will not purchase it again. It did not even last 1 month...and ive had to spend another 4,000 buying a new phone... not a happy bunny.
