"downloading"? Do you mean installing? It wold be good if you provided a few more details. Without more info, I can only say this:
- You need a Windows XP license (and obviously the installation media).
- Make sure you burn the driver CD that bootcamp provides for Windows.
- If you don't want to dual boot there are solutions for running Windows inside Mac OS. For example VMware Fusion.
Ah there you go. Do you have an XP CD with SP1 or without SP? You can burn an XP SP2 CD using "slipstreaming". This is a technology built into Windows installation media that allows you to upgrade the installation media with updates like SPs and hotfixes. Google "slipstreaming Windows XP" and you'll find plenty of resources.
Barring that, VMware Fusion (free 30 day trial) doesn't care about SP level. If you have at least 1 gig of RAM it's a better solution than boot camp. My wife loves it since she can do work related stuff (using Citrix) in Windows on her Mac while keeping Mac OS running.

Another problem... My son scanned a page of his chinese book using HP scanner and unable to save it on words document as he needs to edit some of the words. Is there any way of doing it?
