use google to do a search on "MP3 DVD conversion" - that will probably get you there, and then refine the search as necessary. No doubt there are bit rate requirements, etc. that you need to use.
I'm confused by your question. Do you mean you want to play MP3 files (audio files) or MPEG files(video files) on you DVD player? In the first case you need to convert MP3 to CD tracks which is dead easy. Your CD burning software must have this function but if not try http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ http://www.deepburner.com/?r=products&pr=provsfree http://www.igdsoftware.com/index.php
They are all freeware.
In the latter case, it's best for you to download the trial version of Nero Burning Rom. It has the conversion tools and it's very simple to use.
hi mjiang. they're actually both video files. what i meant by MP3 was the xvid type downloadable from sites like bearshare. for example, i've downloaded "Smallville" but the file I got was only playable in either real player or media player of my PC, not in my DVD player.
So sorry I'm not a techie guy so I'm having a hard time explaining it.
Hi Kier, do you have a DVD burner? If so you are lucky, all you need is DVD Flick http://www.dvdflick.net/
It's a freeware and here's the complete guide for you to play your XVID files on your DVD player. http://lifehacker.com/software/dvds/hack-attack-burn-almost-any-video-file-to-a-playable-dvd-232322.php
This way you are authoring a DVD.
If you only have a CD burner then you have to make VCD instead. If you don't have Nero Burning Rom then use this http://www.videohelp.com/vcdimagergui.htm
once again, freeware. Follow the guide and burn it on a CD. This way you are authoring a VCD (I'm sure your DVD player should be able to play that)
In both cases the video quality will drop slightly comparing to the original downloaded ones and this is unavoidable.
Okay first of all there are 100's of different video formats. What you want is a program that can turn that file into a dvd format. or a program like NERO that burns DVD's that can do it for you. Then you need to make sure that your files are accepted by them.
Try downloading files which is in avi or mpg format. Then use Nero Burner or any other types to burn the file(s) in a DVD format. All u need to do is browse to the avi/mpg file u downloaded after running the program(eg. Nero) and leave the rest to the program to convert it for u.
