Hi, I am inviting a chinese friend over for dinner and am planning to make Indian cuisine. Any suggestions of what chinese generally like in Indian food. Thanks!
First of all, find out their heat tolerance. Some of my Cantonese friends here HATE hot/spicy food.
Tandoori usually goes over well, esp wings. A pilau or biriyani..not with too much fruit in it. Eggplant Bhartha. There's a bitter melon dish I can't remember the name of. Try using veggies that they are used to.
Well I think the guests liked it since they appreciated it. But my husband hated it. He told me he never had such food before.
I made red beans curry which is very popular in India thinking that they like red beans. Along with that I made veg biryani, nutrela peas cause it is like tofu and boondi raita. To be on the safer side I made egg pancakes instead of paranthas.
