Hi there

I live in Guangzhou in China and have a Filipina ayi (she was an English teacher in Manila before she came here). She desperately misses her family (she is a good mum) and probably needs to go home. Could someone please tell me an approximate salary for a yaya/maid? She is doing both jobs here. Do they have to pay tax out of that?

Not that I know of, they are also exempted from travel tax.
Most of the ayi employed in Guangzghou recieve around 2,000~2500RMB.
You can trust them, they work hard, speaks English and love children.
