taiwan visa

Hello,

I am a current student here in Guangzhou and I am planning to travel Taiwan for this summer holidays. I am a Filipino passport holder.

Do I need to apply for a visa to enter Taiwan, if so where can I apply here in Guangzhou?

Yes you need a visa. And no you can't get one in Guangzhou - when you get to study Chinese history/politics you will understand why.

You would have to get it from a third country, such as Philippines, or Hong Kong.
